As the year comes to a close, I love going back and taking a peek at the posts that received the most pins, visits and shares here on the site. Each and every time, I am surprised by the posts that made it in and the ones that were edged out. So fun.
Today I am sharing the top 10 craft and recipe posts of 2014, along with a few Facebook tips and three bonus posts from last year’s holiday season!
Birthday
I always have a birthday project that makes it into the top 10. The curly ribbon birthday wreath I posted over two years ago continues to see lots of traffic, along with the unique birthday countdown from last year. This year, you shared my birthday bracelet over 100K times and I appreciate it so much!
Gifts in a Jar
I didn’t realize I had created to similar gift in a jar posts until after I had posted the second. Good think you like them!
This one is great for the first of the year. Our survival jar went to a third grade teacher!

Recipes
I am not a chef by any means, but I love sharing family favorites here and there. I have two older recipes – my hot chocolate mix recipe and my summer tortellini salad from 2013 that have been shared more than 500K times each and remain very popular.
I made these fall cookies on a whim and everyone loved them!
This cream cheese toffee dip is a family favorite. I am so glad you loved it too!
This post may include some ridiculously lame jokes, but I am glad you still liked it!

If you’re gearing up for the 2015 Super Bowl, you might also want to check out some of our older popular football posts that include fun party printables, football coasters, football pot holders, an appetizer that made our 2013 top posts and some football Oreo pops shared two years ago.
Holiday Projects
My holiday posts always get a bit of the shaft. They aren’t really live long enough to make the top 10 the year they are posted. Here are a few honorable mentions posted in 2013 that all technically appeared in the top 10 of 2014…
This is the gingerbread recipe I make every single year…You must like it too. It’s been pinned over 100K times!
I nearly forgot I had shared this recipe with you after taking it to a handmade ornament party last year…
