The Walt Disney Company has kicked off Disney100 – a celebration commemorating the company’s 100th anniversary. We were lucky enough to attend the launch of this celebration at Disneyland (we still can’t believe it!). We’re sharing everything you need to know about the Disney 100 Years of Wonder Celebration.
We just got back from Disneyland, where we attended the opening of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. We’re excited to share our favorite strategies for how to ride Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland. A full post on how to ride Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway might seem extreme, but getting a seat on this ride is no joke!
Getting the most out of your Disney Park visit requires a fair bit of advance planning these days, especially if you’re there for a special occasion. While we’ve got a quick guide to the full Disney Lunar New Year celebration, the festival food deserves a full post of its own! Today we’re sharing the best Disney Lunar New Year food on the menu in 2023.

Check out the most frequently asked questions we get about Lunar New Year and more detailed information about our favorite Disney eats and festival entertainment.
Let’s be honest, half the joy of visiting a theme park is the sugary, salty, deep-fried, calorie-laden deliciousness that awaits. And, while we’re on a bit of a mission to try every single delicious bite on the menu at Disney Parks, we’ve also been working hard on paying better attention to how we fuel our bodies. Today we’re going to talk about 10 “Healthier” Disneyland snacks that will not wreck your diet
On our most recent trip to Disneyland, we visited one of the world’s largest automotive museums and we’re not sad about it…Today we’re sharing a Petersen Automotive Museum review. This museum is a stop car enthusiasts will thoroughly enjoy, but so will people who love to check out history, design, and the movies.
One of our favorite stops on our tour was the Castle Inn and Suites – the best locally owned and operated hotel close to Disneyland. With a lack of close local listings on Airbnb (due to housing availability and local licensing regulations), we’re asked regularly about locally owned properties in the area. We’re often at a loss, but today we get to deliver…big time.
Recently we talked about the newly renovated Sheraton Park Hotel at Anaheim Resort. This deluxe resort is one of our favorite area hotels, in part because we love Savor – a fun pizza and wine bar – located on site. We think it’s one of the most fun, unique sit-down restaurants near Disneyland and our teenage son has dubbed it a winner. After a couple visits, we’re ready to dish on Savor Stone Hearth Pizza and Wine – the perfect pizza spot close to Disneyland for adults and teens.
Today we’re hitting you with an Element Anaheim review. This review features a hotel selection variable we personally never would have considered before…free breakfast. Traditionally walking distance, followed by a balance of luxury and affordability, square footage, amenities and even on occasion the view have all been factors in determining our vacation hotel, but after an extended stay at the Element, we’re adding breakfast to the list. The Element meets every item on our hotel check list AND has hands down the best free hotel breakfast close to Disneyland.
We don’t know about you, but we’re absolutely creatures of habit. Left to our own devices, we’d probably spend every single Anaheim night in the same hotel. Fortunately or unfortunately for us, we sometimes miss out on booking our favorite Disneyland area hotel so we’ve tried quite a few. Today we’re sharing
As Disneyland annual passholders, traveling from out-of-state, we’re always looking for the best deal on our hotel stay (gotta keep these trips affordable, folks!). Having said that, we’re also hotel snobs who’re a little reluctant to try something new. Enter our travel partner Get Away Today, who recently invited us to tour some of the most popular hotels they book…. Read More
We recently enjoyed a last-minute, couples trip to Disneyland (it’s not just for kids). Typically we book at least three months out, which allows us to book within the “magic triangle.” With our favorite spot sold out, we decided to book somewhere we hadn’t stayed before near the Anaheim Convention Center. Today we’re sharing our experience staying at the Anaheim Marriott.
This is exciting…Today we’re sharing a review of the JW Marriott Anaheim Resort – a luxury hotel within walking distance of Disneyland. Spoiler alert. This is our favorite Disneyland-area hotel. We paid for this room out of pocket and the post contains our personal, unbiased impressions of the JW Marriott – the good, the bad and the ugly. This post… Read More
