You guys, Oreo has got my number. On the surface you might think there’s nothing special about the little black and white sandwich cookie, but 100 years of success and my mid-section would beg to differ…
I blame my slight obsession on the fact that I’ve perfected “dunking” and that they’re constantly showcasing new flavors that I’ve obviously got to try. I am fairly certain that the company’s strategy is to include a few really great tastes, as well as some real bombs just to keep me on the edge of my seat. (For the record, Oreo Thins and Coconut Oreos are a thumbs up. Watermelon, Sherbet and Apple Pie Oreos on the other hand, not my fav.)
It’s no surprise that when I saw the Hot + Spicy Cinnamon Oreos available for the Valentine season I had to pick up a pack and create some sort of Oreo gift tag for the holiday.
Print + Cut Oreo Valentine
To recreate this project you will need:
Print + Cut Oreo Valentine
Color Printer (I use the Cannon Pixma Pro.)
Cardstock
Paper Trimmer (I love this Fiskars trimmer.)
Oreo Cookies (grab the Hot + Spicey Oreos)
Red + White Ribbon
Project directions:
- Download the Oreo Valentine file (see supply list above for download link).
- Open the PDF and send it to your home color printer or take it to a professional print shop. I printed these on my Canon Pixma Pro, on 80 lb. cardstock paper.
- Trim the individual cards to size using a paper trimmer. I have a Fiskars trimmer I adore, because it’s so easy to make a precise cut.
- Sign the cards with a pen. I love using these fine point, felt tip pens.
- Punch a hole in the top of the card. I love my We R Memory Keepers Crop-a-Dile. It will punch through a whole stack at once!
I love how these Oreo Valentine’s turned out! I can’t wait to eat the whole package give them to my friends!
