For most of you, October is all about Halloween. In my house, October is all about sports! It’s time for baseball to run through its playoff series, soccer is winding down, basketball starts showcasing teams through exhibition games and football. Football is in full swing!
No party is complete without a fun party favor though and today I am sharing an easy to create football party favor for fall. Not ready to celebrate quite yet? That’s okay. This is one you can pin and use for “the big game” in February 🙂
Football Party Favors
Supplies:
Clear Candy Boxes
Gum Balls or similar candy
Green and White Baker’s Twine (Black and White would work great too)
Free Football Printable Tag
White craft vinyl or white artist tape
I love clear plastic tubes, they’re perfect for creating fun party favors. I like to keep a box on hand in the house all the time. If you’re just looking for a handful, you can grab them on Amazon for a relatively good deal. Make sure you purchase a one inch tube if you want to recreate this with gum balls.
White artist tape (or some handy white craft vinyl) makes for great football laces on your candy tube. The artist tape is easy to use, because it’s already cut to 1/4 inch and ready to go!
Brown gum balls provide the “treat” in this football party favor box, but milk duds or another brown candy would work just as well.
Once your treats are all in the box, it’s time to add the printable. Download your football tags here and then tie them on with a bit of baker’s twine.
You’re all set and ready to roll!
These fun football goodies would also make great party invites for your next Super Bowl extravaganza! Be sure to pin it for future use.

Hi Tauni! I just became a subscriber! Love your blog. I cannot seem to find a download for the “are you ready for some football” tags. Every time I click on it, it does not bring up the tags to print out. ?? Any suggestions?

Hi Suzanne, I just double checked the file and it looks like it’s been downloaded enough that it locked up. I reset it and you should be all set to click the link in the supply list or later on down in the post. Thanks for letting me know! xo Tauni

Hi Tauni, These tags are so cute and I wanted to print some but it’s not allowing me to do so. Any suggestion?

Hi Sherry, when you click on the link a PDF should open up on your computer. You should be able to download and save or print from that page. I am not sure what sort of error you’re getting, so I don’t know that I can diagnose the problem. Let me know what your computer is saying and maybe I can help! xoxo Tauni
