Wow. What a year. It’s been a bit of a whirlwind!
It’s always fun to look back at the year’s posts and share reader favorites. This year’s top 10 line up features more recipes than ever before…I hate to say it was the year of eating, but it may well have been!
I am also excited to see two contributor posts show up in the top 10 this year. I am truly blessed to be working with some amazing women .

Okay, so technically this first highlight wasn’t actually published in 2013. I posted my Peppermint Hot Chocolate Mix recipe in December 2012, but it has held the very top spot all year long. So, just think of it as a bonus!

Nothing’s better than party decor that can be used over and over. I originally created this DIY chalkboard banner to welcome summer, but it’s since been used over and over and over.
It appears that this is the year of the recipe…I didn’t share that many, but they sure go crazy on Pinterest when I do! I love this super-delicious Summer Tortellini Salad. I can’t wait to make it again!
Despite the not so great photos, this Almond Joy Cookie recipe is AMAZING…I seriously get several comments a month from readers who’ve tried it and love it.
I have been blessed to work with some great contributors. Rebecca has shared a truly amazing project every single month. These Coffee Filter Peonies were nearly guaranteed to find a place in the top 10 from the get go!
I’ve been able to travel all over the country speaking on blogging in the last year. I always attempt to get my notes up on the site whenever possible. One of your favorite blog topic posts was Five Steps to Improving Blog Traffic.
