I am already fondly referred to as “the paparazzi” at my house, but I ALWAYS feel like I can use more photos of the every day. So this summer, I decided to create some fun photo prompts that would give me a reason to shoot and the kids a reason to smile…
The photo prompts I created document everything from the simplicity of “grass stained knees” to “fireworks” and “going to the beach.”
If you’d like the full range, you can download all 101 summer photo prompts to use on your own.
Initially I thought I would just cut the ideas up and place them in the jar, but then I thought it would be so much more fun to sit down together and hand write them.
It was fun stuffing them all in the jar, but it’s been even more fun pulling them out one at a time!
We’re storing our summer photo prompts in an extra large blue Mason jar that I picked up at a junk sale several years ago.
I created the tag using a fun American Crafts Amy Tangerine stamp, Tsukineko VersaMark clear pigment ink, American Crafts Zing embossing powder and a heat gun.
I love how it turned out. I wish you could see the glitter in the little red heart. It’s so much fun!!!
I am really excited to start incorporating these images into my Project Life book. I think it’s really going to add to the type of photos I have already been using.
How do you document the every day?
