Yes. Easter is now three days away and we’re still busy crafting. But, come on. These little pillow box Easter bunnies. All the heart eyes friends. Wouldn’t they make the sweetest edition to your holiday table?!
Pillow Box Easter Bunnies
There are about a million ways to make a pillow box – scissors and a template (if you have a steady hand), an electronic cutting machine like the Cricut or a simple punch board. The We R Memory Keepers punch boards are my favorite so when Amy suggested using one for this project, I knew it would be perfect.
Supplies:
Pillow Box Punch Board
Textured Cardstock – we used a petite Swiss Dot
Pink Cardstock
Glue Dots
Baker’s Twine
Bunny Ears and Nose Cricut File
Print + Cut Easter Tag
Cut and score your pillow box using the preferred method. A paper with a lot of texture like the Core’dinations Swiss Dot, made by Darice, looks great when used on a simple project.
After the pillow box is cut and ready to go, it’s time to create the bunny face. Cut the ears and nose out with your Cricut (using this file) or cut them free hand! Once the pieces have been cut, they’re easily attached with glue dots. Your bunny is all finished and nearly ready to go. Easy peasy!
Finish the pillow boxes off with a sweet little tag and some baker’s twine.
All wrapped up, these little pillow box Easter bunnies are perfect filled with a handful of jelly beans!
Tell me the one folded over ear isn’t the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen?
