There’s nothing better than a giggle with your girlfriends. Nothing. I never would have guessed that I would meet so many amazing friends through blogging and form such deep, long-lasting friendships. I truly count myself among the lucky.
Though those are the friendships you most often hear about when I refer to people here on the blog, link to a friends book release or similar. I actually have wonderful girlfriends from high school, college and my career that still have a place in my life.
I am excited to celebrate ALL of my friendships with women National Girlfriend’s Day – Saturday, August 1, for those of you not keeping track of crazy holidays. In preparing, I pulled together a list of 10 great DIY gifts for girlfriends and thought I’d share it with you today.

Love all of these! But, in particular, the tube bead necklaces are so pretty.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but when you use another blog’s images do you ask first or is the link credit ok and people like the promotion of their site? Thanks!
Tauni says
Amy, this is a great question and one that came up in a Periscope session I did on this topic. I should have included it in the post…If a blogger has linked up to my linky party, tagged me in a post or IG photo then I will use the photo and a link back without first checking in. If it’s someone who’s photo I’ve simply come across, I usually check in first. Don’t want to get into any trouble!
Thanks for stopping in to read the post and to ask such a great question that others can benefit from. I really appreciate it! xo Tauni
