I am going to let you in on a little secret…There isn’t much trick-or-treating in our neighborhood anymore.
I know. I’ve finished crying into my pillow and resigned myself to hosting the hippest get up at the trunk-or-treat. The event is pretty late at night and it’s super dark by the time all the littles start to traipse around. This year our station is all about glow in the dark (because…awesome!) and I am going to share with you the fun glow in the dark Halloween treat basket we’ll be using.
We’re rolling super-cool with these OREO cookie 2-packs, because the packages glow in the dark. Isn’t that fun? It’s the perfect packaging for the Halloween season.
The glow in the dark OREO 2-packs are old in packages of 30 and can be found at your local grocery store. In my store, they’re on the Halloween promotional isle.
Of course, I can’t leave well-enough alone. We can’t just have a big basket of glow in the dark treats…I’ve attached a fun printable gift tag to our basket to ensure that we get the appropriate greeting when everyone comes to visit our car.
And, since it’s being paired with cool glow in the dark OREO 2-packs, it needs to glow too…
Here’s what it looks like in the dark…
With a glow-in-the-dark feature, these OREO 2-packs are great for party favors, gift bags and a fun option for visiting trick-or-treaters, don’t you think?
I am sharing the FREE printable for you to use at your house too!

How awesome are these?! I think I may stock up on these for trick or treater’s too. And I need to get some of that glow paint too! Thanks for the great ideas!!
Thanks Sydney. I have to tell you, I was super-happy with how well they actually glow in the dark. Products often make the claim, but with three boys we’re usually disappointed. Such a fun product, right?! I am also of the mindset that you can never have too much glow in the dark or glitter paint in the house. You’ve got to try it! xo Tauni
