Easter is right around the corner and I am doing a little meal planning. Typically I whip up a big Easter brunch, but this year I will be on my own in the morning. My family is coming over in the late afternoon and so I am on the hunt for the BEST Easter dinner ideas. It’s always “fun” trying to find the PERFECT dinner dishes for both the adults and the children, so if you’ve got additional ideas be sure to let me know in the comments!
Easter Dinner Ideas
I’ve learned that when all of the “cousins” are together, having lots of little snacks on hand are as important as the larger meal. I love these cute carrot and humus snacks!
My Mom always made “bunny buns” for us on Easter. This is a different recipe, but the idea is the same. I am adding the ingredients to my shopping list now!
I am including this Blueberry Feta Salad on the list. I don’t know if the kids will eat salad, but I do know that they will pick off the blueberries and eat those at the very least.
For some reason I tend to make asparagus in the spring and summer, but rarely in the winter. It’s still snowing outside in Utah, but I am ready for spring so this Oven Roasted Asparagus is going on the list.
How about some honey roasted carrots? I probably don’t need the sugar, but these are GOOD.
The other day my friend Emily shared this brussels sprouts recipe. I have never been a huge fan, but she and her family LOVE this recipe so it made the list as well.
What’s a good hearty dinner without potatoes. And would you believe that I’ve never, ever made hasselback potatoes? These look delicious.
I attended a business reception the other day and the served mini Beef Wellington as an appetizer. Holy cow. It was absolutely delicious and I’ve been craving it since! If I don’t get to this for Easter, I will be making it soon.
Ham seems like the most common Easter dish. It’s what I remember eating for dinner growing up. This recipe sounds delicious!
I know lamb is a traditional Easter dish, but I’ve never made it myself. After viewing this recipe, I am considering it. Seriously.
