It seems like I always have a need for little gifts and items to share…It’s lead me to pick up little items here and there that can be up-cycled into a small goodie. It’s gotten to the point where I can’t resist the Target “dollar” area and I have a whole “gift” closet (please tell me I am not the only one with this problem).
I am trying to be more frugal, which really translates into using what I’ve already got. So this week when I knew I would need a few items for some of the ladies in my neighborhood, I dove into the craft closet.
I inherited some a lot of at least 100 baby food jars from a friend a while back and thought this would be the perfect chance to use them. Anyone else have a few of these hanging around?
I also had these awesome Sweet Baking Supply cupcake papers from my swag bag at SNAP! (I don’t know how they ended up with my crafts instead of my baking supplies).
By the way if you have ever stopped to shop Sweet, you really must. The shop is owned by Cindy, from Skip to My Lou, and is filled with delightful items!
The jars and the cupcake liners seemed like the perfect fit. I grabbed them, picked up some ribbon and a few other small odds and ends and put them all together as little baby food jar pumpkin treats.
And wouldn’t they make for cute party favors? We have an annual Great Pumpkin dinner and these baby food jar pumpkins would be so fun to share…
What would you use them for?
To finish them off, I added a little gift tag…

These are so cute! What a good idea! I have tons of baby food jars I’ve been hanging on in order to repurpose!
Jess, Thanks so much! I think they are the perfect little gift/favor. You will have to share what you end up making with your jars! xoxo, Tauni

Eva, Aren’t these little pumpkins just the simplest little gift ever?! They met rave reviews when I delivered them around the other day…xoxo Tauni
