I have been cleaning and tossing like a mad woman for the last month or so. If you follow me on social, you may already know that I have donated about 20 bags to the local thrift outlet. I am trying so much harder to use what I have, as opposed to hitting the store.
I have two areas in my house left to tackle – my kitchen and my craft studio. Yikes! You can imagine why they’re the last on the list…
I am working through the kitchen one cupboard at a time. I just tackled my baking cupboard. Overall it was more a clean-up and organize than a toss, but I did find a cake mix just about to expire, along with some Reeses Peanut Butter Cups from a family reunion (we were in charge of the S’mores).
Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Bars Recipe
I decided to use them to come up with a last-minute dessert for the family. Enter Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Bars. They’re so simple to make. So simple. It’s a great recipe when the kids want a quick treat or your kids want to try out a little baking on their own.
The only things you need to create this recipe is a white cake mix, two eggs, a little oil and three packages of Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. Pretty basic!
Normally, this is where I would share the recipe. However, today I am sending you over to the Mrs. Happy Homemaker. I haven’t met Crystal personally, but she recently lost her husband. A few of us are filling in to help keep her blog going while she’s sorting things out. I hope you will stop by, check out the recipe and leave a note of support.
