Looking for a simple way to celebrate St. Patty’s Day? These print and cut St. Patrick’s Day Gift Tags are a simple way to dress up your holiday table.
Okay. I will admit it. I am not even a little bit Irish. While I have ancestors from Great Britain, they’re TOTES English. Nevertheless, we’re celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a fun dinner. I am not planning an over-the-top party, just a simple Irish dinner with these cute St. Patrick’s Day gift tags tied to some super-cool root beer bottles.
If I get really crazy we might just watch a film set in Ireland like…
Leap Year (Yes, it got terrible reviews, but I love Amy Adams.)
Brooklyn (A period movie that cleaned up at the awards shows.)
Far and Away (Remember when Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman were in love?)
Tristan and Isolde (Not my favorite, but James Franco brings in a cult following.)
By now you’re probably starting to realize that the life around these parts isn’t as exciting as it might seem on the blog, but there’s something kind of nice about normal. Isn’t there?
St. Patrick’s Day Gift Tags
I am using these St. Patrick’s Day gift tags for my dinner, but I am also tying them to six packs of root beer that I can drop of at the houses of a few friends. Yay! I love a versatile gift tag that can be used in more than just one way.
Supplies:
Free Print and Cut Eat Drink and Be Irish St. Patrick’s Day Gift Tag
Color Printer (I like to use this printer for small projects like this one.)
Paper Trimmer or Scissors
Hole Punch
Baker’s Twine
Green Paper Straw
Bundaberg Root Beer (Love these bottles. If you can’t find them in the store, you can grab them on Amazon.)
I printed my tags out on my home color printer. It’s great for little jobs like this, but you can also take the file over to a print shop and have them printed out there.
Once the tags were printed, it was just a matter of trimming them up. I like to leave a little white frame around the edge, but it can also be trimmed right to the edge. Personal preference.
Once the tags were ready to go, it really was as simple as tying them on the bottles. Pretty simple.
I love any good reason to celebrate. These fun St. Patrick’s Day gift tags will tie up the holiday just perfectly at my house.
