I have a hand in managing more than 10 Instagram accounts. Yeah…It can get a bit hectic.

One of the most difficult things about managing so many accounts is the time it takes to sign in and out so that I can leave comments and/or respond with the right handle. Fortunately, there’s an app for that. Let me tell you how to manage multiple Instagram accounts from your phone.

Nearly a year ago, I stumbled upon Fotogramme while perusing the iOS app store. GAME CHANGER. Fotogramme is free, with in app upgrades including removal of ad space for .99 cents (totally worth it!).

Fotogramme allows you to switch easily between accounts and display each feed. It also features a NewsChecker that notifies you when you have a new like or comment! Perfect for social media managers working with more than one company account, or bloggers trying to manage personal and professional.

So let’s dig in and take a closer look, shall we?

This is the photo feed in Fotogramme.

Set up the newsfeed to reflect your personal design preference. You can choose from three different designs – collage, four up or three up. My personal favorite is three column style.

The news feature is easy to follow and helpful for gauging immediate reactions, as well as long-term value.

Click on user accounts and quickly follow, set as favorite view follower counts and see if a user is following you!

Click on photos to double tap for a like and comment just as you would on Instagram.

You can make a special user favorite list that is separate from your follow list and access each user’s photos quickly. Tag your favorite users and organize the photos so you never miss an important moment. Create similar lists for quick access to favorite hashtags.

The only downside to this particular app, is that you’re unable to actually upload a photo from the app. I get around this by using an alternative web-based scheduling service for Instagram.
