Oh my goodness you guys! Christmas is right around the corner…
There was a time in my life where I was a lot more organized. Really. Organized to the point that all of my necessary Christmas shopping was done by mid-November, the house was decorated and in shape immediately following Thanksgiving and December? Well December was for hot cocoa, Bing Crosby and curling up by the fire to watch the Hallmark channel.
The harried Christmas shoppers rushing about the week of Christmas? I scoffed at them.
Turns out you really shouldn’t make fun of others, because karma’s a…well, you know what they say.
The Christmas gifts are not bought. I am the crazy shopper rushing about.
Instead of making my oh so popular hot chocolate mix, I’ve purchased some. Of course, I haven’t had any because let’s be honest there is no time to curl up by the fire.
And do you know what happens when you try to DVR all of the Hallmark Christmas specials? Well, your kids cry because Once Upon a Time was deleted.
Sigh.
Fortunately, you all swooped in and provided a little bit of holiday cheer by sharing during this week’s linky party. Thank you!
Today, I am going to share some of the fun holiday ideas that caught my eye.

Eeeep! Thanks so much for featuring my Reindeer Banner! I’m honored! Especially in such grand company, too. Off to check out some of these gems.
I can so relate, Tauni…every year I say that it’s going to be different and I’m going to get everything done ahead of time, and every year I’m stressed and still rushing around at the last minute! I just need to accept that there’s just too much going on leading up to Christmas for me to ever get ahead, so I might as well embrace the chaos! 😉 Thanks so much for the party…hope you make a dent in your to-do list this week!
I feel rushed this Christmas as well. I feel like I just haven’t had the time to get everything done. I’m already saying “Next Year I’l be more organized”. Haha.

Thank you Tauni- I truly appreciate you featuring my cranberries.
As for the shopping – Wish we lived closer, we could shop together. I won’t be starting my shopping until I get home – should make for quite an interesting week. I think they will still be hot off the shelves while they are unwrapping them . Hugs!
Thanks so much for the feature Tauni!
I’m right there with you this year! My in-laws come in two days and the house looks like a large tornado went through. And I still have a million things to do – shopping, baking, blog stuff. It’s crazy town over here! 🙂
Thanks for featuring my diy canvas art!
Tauni, thank you so much for featuring my snowflake ornament – you made my day… Thank you for hosting. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a most wonderful New Year…. Cathy
