One of the reasons that my boyfriend and I get along so well, is that we both place a great deal of emphasis on family and tradition. While I am all big ideas and out of control productions, I’ve come to realize that his steady, simple traditions are far more meaningful. One of my favorites is an “event” that I haven’t even participated in…Daddy Daughter Movie Night (DDMN). For the last 10 years, my boyfriend has spent quality time with his girls snuggled down on the couch with a movie.

It’s such a memorable part of their time together, I could think of no better way to celebrate Father’s Day than with a fun movie-themed Father’s Day gift complete with a FREE print and cut Father’s Day gift card.

Hey Pop Father’s Day Gift Tag + Movie Bucket

Since I ran with the punny “Hey Pop” theme, I wanted to package the gift up in a popcorn bucket. I selected this large plastic bucket available on Amazon, but there are many, many more options. I am having some second thoughts and am seriously considering purchasing another option (thank Heaven for Amazon Prime!)

Speaking of Amazon, if you have kids you might consider having them customize these fun ceramic popcorn containers. These smaller individual popcorn buckets would also work well if you don’t want to include as much filler product as I have.

I filled the bucket with all sorts of fun movie-style candy boxes, as well as an Amazon and Fandango gift cards for future movies.

Once I’d filled the bucket, I print and cut out the “Hey Pop” gift card and attached it to the outside. Super-fun gift ready to go!
