Looking for Easter crafts and home decor ideas to decorate for the coming holiday? Don’t miss this spring home tour, filled with fun DIY and design ideas.
Ahh, spring in Utah. It’s Mother Nature’s grand joke on the state…
For those of you unfamiliar with the weather in Northern Utah this time of year, the season looks a little like this: Fool’s Spring, Second Winter, Spring of Deception, Third Winter, Actual Spring (lasts about a minute).
Despite the fact that I am sure it will snow a couple more times until we really reach ACTUAL SPRING, I’ve joined a fantastic group of bloggers in sharing a peek at my home decked out for spring.
Each and every home shared in this series is sooo gorgeous! For links to all the homes featured as a part of The Happy Housie’s spring home tour series, scroll to the bottom of the post.
Easter Crafts and Home Decor Ideas
In year’s past, the number of times I’ve changed out the decor in my home this time of year closely resembles the fickle weather in my state. It’s common for me to put up and take down an entire houseful of decor almost monthly…Valentine’s Day (February), St. Patrick’s Day (March) and Easter (April). Sort of fun. Sort of ridiculous.
In an effort to simplify, I’ve decided to leap right in and decorate with loads of Easter crafts and home decor items that will remain out through the end of April.
I’ve been surprised with how deeply I’ve fallen in love with my entryway over the last few years. It’s the most neutral space in my home, decorated in black, white and gray.
For spring I’ve added a few black and white bunnies and a fun DIY Cottontail Candy Co. pillow.
Down the hall in the kitchen and dining room, I’ve added a few small touches of Easter.
I like to keep the countertops clear of knick knacks and appliances, but a simple seasonal vignette that’s easy to move when it’s busy works perfectly.
In the dining room I’ve kept my winter weather cocoa bar (the hot chocolate keeps us warm during the irregular spring weather), but it’s now a chocolate bunny bar.
The bunny sign is another quick project that took about an hour to put together.
For all the details, check out the full Chocolate Bunny Bar Easter Sign DIY.
Just on the other side of the room in the living space, I’ve decorated my mantel with a couple cute Easter crafts.
You can check out all of the details on my mantel, or simply grab the carrot printable.

I love all your bunnies! That pillow is adorable. We’ve been having a similar fickle spring too!
