With Thanksgiving now behind us, we’ve jumped head first into Christmas around here. The tree is up, holiday tunes are playing throughout the house and glitter has lightly dusted every surface imaginable (including all three boys and the dog, which has been slightly less popular than a mug of hot chocolate in 90 degree weather).
While I am always running behind, I am feeling good about the fact that most of the presents have been purchased and my holiday crafting is done (outside of one girls weekend). Yippee!
Since I am relishing the holiday spirit, I thought it would be fun to share a few of the fun holiday posts linked up this past week…
Show + Tell Highlights
One of my favorite things about Show + Tell are the great blogs that I am introduced to. I haven’t featured Our Mini Family before, but Cathy has some great ideas over there. Check out these adorable santa hat cupcakes…

You’ll hate me, but I am going to say it anyway. The Elf on the Shelf doll is a little creepy. Seriously. In our house we use an old fashioned alternative that’s been around forever, but if I was starting out I might want to make up one or two of these sweet little things…

If you’ve been hanging around here for any length of time, you may be familiar with my love of gingerbread. I talk about it frequently during the holiday season. My super-easy gingerbread recipe has been pinned well over half a million times, while my gingerbread popcorn does pretty well too.
As you can imagine, this gingerbread Oreo cookie ball recipe had me at HELLO.

Dear Lindsay, you are amazing and I am TOTALLY stealing this idea! Sequins are like the older sibling to glitter, so it’s only natural that I’d be totally in love!

There was a heated discussion about whether or not to leave cookies out for Santa on Christmas Eve (we’re firmly in the cookie camp). I think these cookie dunkers would be such a fun idea. I am sure “Santa” would love one, or two 🙂

I don’t have any girls, but if I did I think we might try our hand at these fun glitter trees and celebrate a Frozen Christmas. Plus? Hello, they’re glitter.

How about these adorable little Christmas trees? So cute!

I am not usually one to go rustic, but I could be convinced by these adorable wood slice ornaments – so fun!

Such fun projects!
