A good bench for the entry is hard to come by, so when I spied a little gossip bench amongst a pile of things headed for the thrift store while at my grandma’s house a few weeks ago I snatched it right up.
My grandma NEVER threw out a sturdy piece of furniture (or clothing, crafting supplies, paperwork, you name it) and these were quite popular in the 50?s and 60?s so it should really be no surprise she had one in her “collection.”
It’s a little dinged up, a lot dusty, but with a little effort I’ve no doubt it will be a great little piece.
Before getting started on a little renovation, I thought I’d search for a bit of inspiration. Here’s what I found…
