Hi there! Michele here from The Scrap Shoppe back today with a simple and fun teacher appreciation gift idea.
I love giving our teachers something special at the end of the school year to let them know they are appreciated. I also try to make the gift thoughtful and something they may be able to use. I think these glittery pastel colored pencils make for a very fun gift that look cute to boot!
You can find this specific colored pencil set at Target, but any colored pencils will work. You also need coordinating washi tape, a bit of twine, and the Color My World printable I made specifically for this project.
I have two versions of the printable available, all on a single file. The one on the left matches the glittery pastel colored pencil set while the one on the right is great for primary colors.
Use the washi tape to wrap the pencils in a single row. The bottom piece of washi tape will be visible after we add the tag so I used a more decorative piece there.
Wrap the twine around the two pencils in the center of the row. Add the teacher and child’s names to the printable then punch a hole in it and thread the twine through. Make a cute little bow and… you’re done!
Simple, fun, and your child will love giving this to his/her teacher on the last day of school.

This is so cute! And I love that they are something useful. I think I might need those colored pencils too though – they are all kinds of awesome!
