One Word Goal: A Girl and a Glue Gun

Hi. I’m kimbo! I blog at a girl and a glue gun. AND daily craft vinyl. AND a mom to three. AND a house cleaner. AND a cook. AND a chauffeur. AND a maid. AND a wife. AND a churchgoer. AND a sister. AND a friend. AND I could go on. and on and on.

That’s why I chose BALANCE as my word!

I loved this quote so much…’cause for the past year I have been trying to find balance. Trying to find the perfect amount of blog time, mom time, me time.

And failing miserably. ‘Cause fact is. There is always something to clean. There is always something to do with the blog. There is always quality time that I could be spending with my kids. There is always a book I want to read. If I focus all on my blog…everything else suffers. If I focus all on my kids…the blog suffers…and If I focus all on my house…I suffer. (Just kidding–kinda…house cleaning isn’t the most fun thing in the world.)

I needed balance in my life…like a snowman needs cold weather. And when I read that above quote…I felt like a light bulb went off. I was waiting around for balance to come…BUT I have to be the one to create it! I look at my full plate…and I don’t want anything to be taken off. I love it all. But the only way I can carry it is if I have it better balanced.

So that is what I will be working on for 2015!! Creating more balance!
