Hello! It’s Bettijo here from Paging Supermom with a super-easy teacher gift idea. I have always found teacher gifts to be a bit challenging because you often don’t really know the teacher’s personal interests, and a teacher can only use so many apple figures or coffee mugs (of course there is one kind of apple a teacher could never get too much of). So I was brainstorming more teacher gift ideas, and was thinking about gifts that I enjoy receiving, which led me to the idea of a scented candle.
I designed these cute teacher gift labels to wrap around the candles. I made them to fit the 3-wick candles from Bath & Body Works. I like this brand of candles because they have a good throw. Plus if you watch, you can typically find good sales, and that’s when I stock up. These teacher appreciation gift wraps will also fit almost any large jar candle.
Of course an apple scented candle would be an obvious choice for a teacher gift idea, but I opted for some summery scents in bright colors.
I created two different versions of these teacher candle wraps. The first one has more of a group sentiment saying, “Thanks for Helping Us Shine.” Get the download of this free printable candle wrap template over on my blog.
If you want a more personalized teacher gift idea, I also have an editable version that says, “Thanks for Helping Me Shine.” These candle gift tags are available in the Supermom Co-op. After purchasing the instant download, you can type your child’s name into the file in Adobe Reader, then print as many as you need.
The files are setup so that three labels print per page. If you’ve got more than one child, it’s a cinch to make a bunch. Also when making your teacher appreciation gifts, don’t forget about coaches and piano, dance, or music teachers.
The secret to making your labels look polished is double-sided tape. Put a piece along each of the short edges to invisibly attach the wrap labels. I placed the “Shine” wrap on the side opposite of the actual label, so teacher can still see the scent of the candle.
