Hello there! And welcome to 2015! My name is Beckie and I blog over at Infarrantly Creative. I am a wife and mom to two little people and just moved in late August to Columbus, Ohio. I am really excited about this ONE WORD CHALLENGE. Like Tauni, I am incredibly goal-oriented and I love evaluating in order to bring about change.
Do you remember yourself as a teenager or a young adult? I remember that girl. Full of life. Willing to take huge risks. Afraid of nothing. Hopeful, Excited and Energetic. A lover of people and giver of her soul. What happened to that girl? Pain, expectations, responsibility, disappointments maybe? While I am still vivacious and full of life I feel like I need to rediscover my sparkle. Somewhere along the way my sparkle has dimmed a little.
2014 was a rough year personally for me. A break in a relationship I valued deeply, saying goodbye and moving away from family and a place I loved, starting over and beginning a new chapter of my life. With all the change I feel like I need to REDISCOVER ME.
I need to laugh more. I need to risk getting hurt again in order to love people. I need to say yes more when I want to say no. I need to branch out, reach out and offer out.
I need to rediscover myself. I love this quote my Howard Thurman. This is my 2015 mantra.
I want to come alive and I want that to affect every area of my life. I want to break out of my little safe “blogging bubble” and engage and meet new people in my area, maybe even sharing my gifts and abilities with them. So watch out 2015 this girl is about to REDISCOVER herself. Who is going to join me?
