There are a few fun things that remind my friends of me…
Black turtlenecks.
Cute sunglasses.
Love of social media.
And then there are few not so flattering things that remind my friends of me…
Easily distracted.
Loud phone talker.
Destroyer of mobile devices.
Seriously folks? That last one is a killer…
I have dropped my phone in a bucket of paint (for the record it was a lovely shade of French Blue). I have dropped it while getting out of a car more times than I can count. My iPad was once shut in the door of a taxi and another helped fell off the table after I had propped it up with a glass of water.
Getting the picture? This is an expensive problem to have…
Needless to say, I have learned my lesson. The first thing I do when I purchase a new device is find the perfect case for it. After that? I am pretty much ALWAYS on the look out.
Enter the Flux+Flap iPad Case.
Oh my gosh. Tell me that isn’t the coolest iPad case you’ve ever seen?!
The hallmark of the Flux+Flap iPad case is the removable flap cover that doubles as a stand. I know. You THINK you’ve seen this. You haven’t. What makes this case different are the neodynium magnets that lock the iPad into place and allow it to be repositioned, flipped and set so that you can see your screen from nearly ANY angle.
The magnets are so cool. This case will allow you to stick your iPad to anything metal. Can we talk about the endless possibilities this creates in the kitchen alone?
Stick it to the fridge and create your shopping list. Put it on the counter and view a recipe. Position it in a convenient location and hit play so that you can jive around the room…
Love.
True love.
But wait! It gets better.
One of the most underutilized features on my iPad is the camera. I’ve always found it a little bulky to hold and shoot with while on the go and when setting it down on a surface I am always worried it’s going to topple and break.
Fortunately, the Flux+Flap doubles as a tripod…WHAT?!
But, here’s how I would use it the most…
I would use it while reading. I read on my iPad EVERY day. I have worked out the most uncomfortable, comfortable position for reading that involves the couch, two pillows and a kinked neck.
So here’s the deal. The Flux+Flap was first launched on Kickstarter and almost immediately reached its original goal. It’s now moving on to the STRETCH goal which means color options. Color options like this one…
Here’s where you can help. Hop over to the Flux+Flap page on Kickstarter and vote on your favorite color/design combination. And then, if you’re so inclined, help Flux+Flap meet their funding goal.
Never used Kickstarter? Here’s the way it works. You can pledge as little as $1 to a project. If the project reaches it’s funding goal through crowd sourcing, your account will be charged. If the project doesn’t reach it’s goal, you’ll never be charged.
It’s handy in the kitchen. It’s great for blogging. It might save my back when reading. I just think that this cover might save my life.
