Hi everyone! I’m Gina from Kleinworth & Co. & I am ABSOLUTELY BEYOND THRILLED to be sharing my first contributor post here at SNAP! today.
I know this time of year can be so stressful both on your calendar & your pocketbook. It seems like there is always someone else to add to your gift list & not enough time to get all the shopping done & get those gifts delivered.
I decided to come up with some quick & simple homemade Christmas gifts that won’t break the bank. The best part about this one is that it’s kid friendly so your little ones can not only help prepare them but help in the delivery too.
Candy Cane Pretzel Neighbor Gift
Who wouldn’t want to have your little cutie standing on their doorstep bringing them this bucket of goodies?
Start with the really cute bucket of choice. I happened to just pick up this one with the great twisted detail in the handle.
I’m thinking I may need to pick up several more because I just love it.
Add a bell & a gift tag to the handle for added visual interest. You can download this tag & the rest of the set HERE.
The next step is adding the pretzels. You can pop over to my blog to see how I made them and to print the recipe for the Candy Cane Pretzels.
Wrap a set of the pretzels in parchment before adding to the bucket.
I like this also because I can make enough of these pretzels from the ingredients to make 2-4 different gifts.
Stuff a little extra paper shred in there. It’s great for keeping them upright & it looks super cute. Plus, any time you can add a little extra texture with things like the raw twine on the tag or the paper shred it makes it more visually interesting.
These are great for teachers, neighbors & friends. You could even wrap it with cellophane & bring along as a hostess gift to all those holiday parties.
Happy Holidays!!
