I am a sucker for a pretty paper planner. For several years I ordered a planner from Emily Ley’s pretty collection, before adopting this super basic, spiral-bound calendar.

If you’re anything at all like me, I very nearly lost you when I used the word DIGITAL.
My friends, I get it.
I am the girl that prefers real books to using a Kindle. Every time…How else would I underline and highlight sections in every single one of these?!)
I buy notebooks just because they’re pretty.
I still send handwritten thank you cards in the mail.
And, I have sticky notes posted all around my desk. (They’re just filled with my favorite quotes instead of lists these days.)
So when I tell you that Trello is worth “investing” in, I mean it.
What is Trello?
Trello is a web-based, visual productivity and organizational system – think Pinterest for task management.
It’s perfect for housing all of your to do lists, plans and reference material for everything from weekly goals and business plans to holiday gift lists and vacation planning.
One of my favorite features is the ability to have “my list” with me wherever I go. While working I often use Trello on my desktop, but it’s robust app make it the perfect tool while on the go.
The best part? Trello is FREE!
Yep. You read that right. It is a free application you can use to organize your entire life.
There is an option to upgrade your service to get additional board functionality, but I used Trello regularly for more than a year before I found a reason to shell out the whopping $5 a month for additional services.
