Hi SNAP friends! Kimberly from A Night Owl here, and I’m so excited to be back with you today sharing another fun holiday craft! Last month I shared a fun and easy Conversation Heart Chalkboard, did you like it? It was a cute and fun craft I could play with all month! Over on A Night Owl, one of my most popular Valentine’s crafts this year were these adorable little Succulent Valentines. There was such a fun buzz around them and I LOVED having them around as decor, I figured this month I’d update the succulents for St. Patrick’s Day – thus these Lucky Succulents were born! Now I found these little brown Jiffy pots (that are really just seed starter pots), last month. They have a great texture and I thought they would be so pretty painted! And they are and they held up well, but they’re not a permanent planting solution. If you can’t find the same pots or want something long-term – it would be just as cute to paint any clay planting pots.
What you’ll need:
- Succulents
- Jiffy pots (starter pots) or clay pots
- Paint
- Paintbrush
And the steps:
- Simply paint your succulent pots with shamrocks and stripes in green paint! I used the new Chalky Finish paints by Americana in two different shades of green.
- Let dry and pop your succulent plants in – that easy!
And they turned out so cute, right?
Your own personal shamrock – er cactus – garden!
But so fun and festive, right? Perfect little Lucky Succulents! Just a REALLY cute way to bring St. Patrick’s Day decor into your home or office -OR- gift to family and friends! Who wouldn’t love one of these little guys?
