1.Tell us a little about you and your blog.
Daily. Â Or very nearly. Â I am lucky enough to have a whole room devoted to my supplies and machines, so I don’t have to clean up my work space to eat dinner! Â
That is a really difficult questions, and it seems like the answer changes weekly. Â Clay will always be my first favorite, but it is not very compatible with the hectic schedule I’ve got going on right now. Â I would have to say cloth – all kinds – from rustic burlap to gorgeous decorator prints to fun cotton quilting fabric and flannels. Â You can make so many different kinds of things with cloth, and it is easy to stop in the middle of a sewing project if you need to attend to real life. Â Clay is not so forgiving.
I love taking pictures, which I suppose could be a kind of craft, but it is my other favorite thing to do. Â While my family (especially the short ones) are my usual subjects, I also try to capture those beautiful moments out in nature. Â I use the endless internet to learn about settings on my camera (a Canon Rebel Ti3? – I am too lazy to get up and check!). Â My latest success if taking pictures with a blurred background, and I’m getting better at it all the time! Â The hardest part is keeping up to date with photo albums – I have thousands of pictures and only 9 photo albums. Â And no, they don’t each hold 1,000 pictures!
