Today I am excited to share an interview with Natalie, from Nat Mac’s Kick Knacks. I hope you have as much fun getting to know her as I have.
1. Tell us a little about you and your blog.
My name is Natalie, but my friends call me Nat. I am a stay at home Mom to three kiddos. I like thrifting, crafting, scrapbooking, and cooking. I like to stay busy and always have something I’m working on. My blog is a hodge-podge of all the things I love.
2. How and when did you start crafting?
I grew up in a very talented family. It must just be something that’s in my blood. I started doing little crafts when I was pretty young. When I was in Junior High I got really big into scrapbooking. When my hubby and I bought our first home I started crafting a lot more. Most of my holiday decorations are things that I’ve made with my Mother-in-Law.
3. How often do you craft?
I try to craft as much as possible. Sometimes it’s more often than not. I like to do at least one new craft each holiday.
4. Where do you get your inspiration?
I think you can get inspiration pretty much everywhere. Currently though it’s hands down Pinterest. I spend far too much time on that website!
5. What is your favorite medium to work in?
Seasonal and holiday crafts are my favorite. I think it’s especially fun for my kids since they are still pretty young.
6.What is your guilty pleasure?
I have lots of guilty pleasures. Fountain cherry cokes, peanut butter M&Ms, reality TV, Ben and Jerry’s icecream, Pinterest.
7. What makes you smile?
As cheesy as it may sound my hubby and kiddos. It’s hard to stay mad when you live at my crazy house. I also have a hard time not smiling when I watch Jimmy Fallon, The Colbert Report, Modern Family, Blades of Glory, Flight of the Conchords, Disney Movies.
8.What is your favorite thing to do (other than crafting)?
Again, another cheesy answer, but spending time with my family. Summer is great for quality family time. We have lots of outings, swimming, camping, game nights, movie nights at the drive-Inn, and bbq’s. Our lives are pretty hectic during the school year so it’s nice to re-center in the summer.
Thanks so much for participating with us this season Nat!
If you haven’t had a chance yet, get to know Nat a bit better by visiting her site. You will get to see a lot of fun posts. Here are a few of my favorite, just in case you missed them…
