I think I first came across Jacks & Kate about a year and a half ago when Krisha linked up a project to Show & Tell, over at SNAP! It was love at first site for me and I’ve been enjoying her site ever since.
(Note to Krisha. Yes. I have really read your site for that long and don’t know if I have ever commented – oops! Just so you know, I think you’re great!)
I love Krisha’s kids crafts and party ideas. There’s a whole lot of awesome going on over there…
Interview with Krisha from Jacks & Kate
Tell us a little bit about yourself and your blog.
I’m a former Etsy shop owner, turned blogger. My roots are in sewing, but I like to dabble. I blog about life and whatever idea pops into my head.
How and why did you start crafting?
I’ve always been a crafty person. I started crafting (sewing) for profit after I was laid off from my banking job. Oh, and I was 4 months pregnant with my second child.
How often do you craft?
Um…everyday, every minute of everyday. I craft in my sleep. I’m crafty that way. Seriously though, it never shuts off.
Where do you get inspiration? How do you stay creative?
Magazines,my kids, other blogs. Also, staring at something long enough usually produces some sort of a spark of creativity.
What is your favorite medium to work with?
What’s the one craft/DIY skill you’d love to master?
What is your guilty pleasure?
Binge watching Netflix.
What makes you smile?
That’s easy…Target. Oh and my three crazy children – Jacks, Savannah and Annabelle.
What is your favorite thing to do (other than crafting of course)?
Once upon time, I used to love fishing. Though, I don’t get to do it so much these days.
How do you stay organized?
Um, yeah. That’s not happening so much these days. I may seem like I have it all together. That is simply not true. I’m a crazy mess!
