So what did you think about birthday week? I really loved all of the great projects entered in this week’s challenge. I know that this one was a bit of a stretch for some of our competitors, but I think they all did a fantastic job. In fact, I sort of wish I had a fail safe…Something like the “Tim Gunn Save” like Project Runway has implemented.

Birthday Challenge Winner
That means our birthday challenge winner is Lynda, from Oh So Shabby! Lynda created this super-fun first birthday highchair – what a striking project!
This is actually Lynda’s second win. She took first place in our audition round with her amazing back to school kid’s station.
Like it? You can find the tutorial here.
Lynda will be back to share her first birthday highchair on Tuesday. Be sure to pop over and check out exactly how she put this one together.
Of course, that does mean we have to say goodbye to someone too. This week Justynn, from Creative Life Antics, will be leaving us. I have to tell you that I am really sad about this. Justynn has boundless energy and I have been so impressed with her…If only I could have been half as talented and on-the-ball as she is when I was her age.
I might have teared up over this one a little bit.
Justynn has had some AMAZING projects and success already this season. I hope you will come back on Wednesday when I share my interview with her and showcase a few of my favorite projects.
